Motels: Pine Creek Lodge - 231.848.4431 Located on M-55 about 15 miles east of Manistee and about 30 minutes from the start. The Mushroom Cap Motel - 231.885.1222 Located in downtown Mesick about 4 miles from the start. The Village Motel - 888.999.2049 or 231.885.1370 Located on M-37 one block south of M-115 about 4 miles from the start. Cadillac area located about 22 miles east of the start Best Western – 231.775.2458 Day’s Inn - 231.775.4414 Super 8 - 231.775.8561. Camping: At the finish - Bowman Bridge Campground located on the Pere Marquette River, which is wonderful for soaking tired legs after the race. Come for the race but stay for the weekend! Directions to the campground: From Baldwin, (M-37), take 7^th Street West 5 blocks to Cherry, turn left and go 0.1 miles to 52^nd Street (also called Carr Road). Turn Right (west) on 52^nd go about 4.2 miles to the campground. At some point the road turns and changes names to 56^th Street. Near the start – Seaton Creek Campground located on the Manistee River about 20 minutes south of the start west of M-37. Both of the campgrounds are rustic (pit toilets, water pump), there is a charge for camping; you pay at the campsite. 20040718
